Job Description

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a software technical nature. Experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Come intern with Intel's PPF Architecture organization on the Server Firmware team. PPF Architecture drives the definition of Intel's phone, tablet, PC client, server and Many Integrated Core microprocessors from first concept, through design, validation and manufacturing. Software development responsibilities may be quite diverse, depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments may be for short periods (up to 6 months) throughout the school year.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be pursuing a MS/ PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field.

At least 6 months of experience with software/scripting programming languages. C/C++, Python, and Perl are required.

At least 1 year of coursework/experience in the following areas:

*Computer Architecture


*Programming Languages (C/C++, Python, Perl)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Intel Architecture

Assembly and Ruby are desired.
