Intel HPC Architecture Engineer in Hudson, Massachusetts
Join our Exascale System Architecture Pathfinding team as a Senior Hardware Engineer designing scalable computer systems using Intel Processors and Network Components for High-Performance Computing HPC applications and be in the forefront of system hardware innovation! The candidate will work with a team of architects and design engineers to innovate, customize and enhance processor and fabric designs to increase their versatility, focusing on performance, power, and cost requirements.
Minimum qualifications: Must have a PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in the following areas:
Strong understanding of microprocessor architecture concepts, and software/hardware interactions
High level language programming C, C++, OpenCL
Experience with script languages Python, Perl, Ruby
Working knowledge of networking concepts Ethernet, Infiniband, Omni-Path
RTL Coding in VHDL or Verilog for SoC/ASIC/FPGA designs
Ability to read and understand schematic designs
Experience in SoC/ASIC/FPGA RTL design and validation
Design of SoCs or high complexity IP blocks
Understanding of FPGA design flow synthesis, place & route algorithms
