Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Data Center Group (DCG) as a Senior HPC Fabric Technical Trainer!

Intel's Omni-Path fabric team is seeking an experienced senior technical trainer to be responsible for developing technical training course materials, administering training clusters, and conducting both live and prerecorded professional technical training for developers, support engineers both within Intel and with OEMs and partners and key end users to ensure successful deployment, support and customer satisfaction of Intel's Omni-Path Architecture OPA HPC networking products. HPC is an exciting and growing field deployed today by leading industry partners, government laboratories, and educational institutions worldwide to help solve the world's most challenging scientific problems including fusion energy, bio-medical research, physics, as well as traditional engineering such as aeronautic and automotive engineering

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Determine student learning objectives and course content.

  • Prepare course syllabi, lesson plans, student manuals and accompanying product functional demonstrations, course exercises and accreditation/certification materials.

  • Configure and administer cluster resources for hands-on training labs.

  • Responsible for effective training delivery in classroom, on-line interactive and prerecorded multi-media settings.

  • Be an evangelist for Intel Omni-Path Architecture as well as adjacent Intel HPC products, including Xeon, Xeon Phi, Intel Enterprise Edition for Lustre IEEL, and Intel HPC solution frameworks and services.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related discipline with 6+ years of work experience, a Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related discipline with 4+ years of work experience, or a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related discipline with 2+ years of work experience.

  • 3 plus years of experience developing technical course material including determining student learning objectives and course content, preparing course syllabi, lesson plans, student manuals and accompanying product functional demonstrations and course exercises.

  • 3 plus years of experience in training delivery in both classroom and on-line interactive multi-media settings.

  • 3plus years of experience in the use of Camtasia, Articulate and/or Captivate as well as Microsoft Office including Visio and Project, Photoshop and SharePoint.

  • 3 plus years of demonstrated ability of excellent presentation skills, strong written and verbal communications skills, and strong interpersonal/collaboration skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science highly preferred.

  • 3 plus years of experience developing and delivering technical course material in high performance computing, large networking systems, or related field.
