Job Description

Come intern with Intel's Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group (NSG) which is developing Solid-State Drive (SSD) controller ASICs. Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role and candidate experience.

Responsibilities will encompass working on developing Solid-State Drive (SSD) controller ASICs, which may include writing block-level specifications, designing RTL, writing test plans, creating test benches, verifying designs using coverage-driven verification, implementing and analyzing coverage, synthesizing circuits, or performing static timing analysis.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must be pursuing a BS Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

6+ months of experience in the following areas:

  • C, C++ System Verilog

  • Digital design

  • Functional verification

Preferred Requirements:

  • Data structures and algorithms

  • Digital logic, computer architecture

  • Assembly language and hardware description languages

  • UVM/OVM and advanced functional verification
