Intel Electro-Optics Engineer in Los Angeles, California

As an Electro-Optics Engineer in the EyeC group, you will be responsible for architecture and product development methodologies. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Define product characterization and test methodology.
Develop techniques to characterize electro-optical transmit and receive signal chains.
Define production test requirements per the product specifications, and enable the manufacturing production test capability.
Lab activities with cutting edge lab instruments for lab/simulation results correlation, as well as programming scripts for automation and optimization required for those tasks.
Minimum Preferred Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Science or related technical discipline.
4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in electro-optics related testing, characterization, and documentation.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Science or related technical discipline – Advantage.
Familiar with optical communication components and/or systems, 3D imaging applications and standards
Knowledge of MATLAB, LabVIEW, and typical lab, instrument control and data analysis tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently.
