Intel Engineer Technician in Phoenix, Arizona
Engineering Technicians perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or mechanical troubleshooting to maintain equipment used in the assembly manufacturing processes.
The Engineering Technician is responsible for, but not be limited to:
• Providing Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high volume manufacturing environment.
• Dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
• Performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.
• Resolving non-standard problems with minimal supervision.
• Working with Engineering to support new equipment installations, sustaining, and process improvement initiatives.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
• Candidate must possess a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) certification, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree; or equivalent military training.

• Candidate must be willing to:
Lift up to 35 lbs. twice a month, climb ladders, walking 3-5 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours in a clean room environment.
Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods of time in a clean room environment.
Work a day shift compressed work week schedule. The schedule will consist of three twelve hour days in a row followed by a fourth day every other week.
• Electronic/avionic experience.
• Knowledge in electronics or digital circuitry.
• Experience with end-user computer skills and navigation, schematic/wiring diagram reading, electronic systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with testing, repairing and troubleshooting faulty electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics, technical data and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system repair manuals.
• Troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working on and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment systems.
• Ability to apply the use of mechanical/electrical measuring devices such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, metrology, and calibration equipment.
• Proficient in Windows computer operating systems and Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in advanced networking, troubleshooting, and Linux software systems.
• Experienced in Solid Works, CAD, 3D printing.
• Experience in CNC Milling, welding, metal work.
