Intel IOTG Technical Intern - Undergraduate in Phoenix, Arizona
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
- You will be creatively applying your technical know-how (engineering fundamentals, scientific knowledge, systems thinking, analytical thinking, prototyping, and testing knowledge) against design constraints and boundary conditions (industrial design, cost, performance criteria and other design constraints) to research, develop and productive mass producible solutions. Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
This requisition is for sourcing for the IOTG Intern Program in 2019. Specific project details and manager assignment will be communicated prior to the start of the internship. Offers must be accepted or declined by March 30th, 2019.

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience.
Must be currently enrolled in a BS program in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Bio-medical, Power Electronics, Communication or Electronics, Embedded Systems or other related engineering program.

Minimum 3+months of experience in some of the following:
Working knowledge (debug and development experience) of standard PC system architecture, Operating Systems and Driver internals
Ability to read hardware schematics to determine basic component information, addressing, etc.
Basic RTL and HW design.
FPGA design and prototyping.
AI / ML / DL
Solidworks or Creo experience, Excel, Powerpoint, Lab experience, data acquisition
Experience in system level debug, including BIOS, Drivers, OS, systems integration.
Experience with hardware circuit board design and debug, schematic capture, printed circuit board layout design and Allegro* and Cadence* design tools will be added advantage
Varied based on EV, FV, or PSS/FPGA.
Knowledge with power consumption analysis, power modeling and power estimation.
Familiarity with schematics and board design flows
Troubleshooting skills, test writing, knowledge of platform hardware
Knowledge of key embedded workloads and power/performance characterization.
Understanding of IA architecture, Performance projections include MP/MT workloads, CPU micro architecture, Memory technologies.
Knowledge in video analysis & different CNN is preferred.
Able to read schematics and familiar with microcontrollers embedded programming.
Prior experience of industry standard tools like DesignArchitect and Platform Architect
Understanding of configuration management and baselines
