Intel IP Ecosystem Technical Program Manager in Phoenix, Arizona
This position is responsible for the technical management of Intel's 3rd party commercial IP suppliers. Responsibilities include being the interface between Intel design/solutions teams and IP suppliers, executing the global IP strategy and driving IP industry analysis, risk management, and IP supplier quality management programs including the analysis of supplier capabilities and performance assessments for management of Intel's IP suppliers.
You will work with multiple Intel SOC design teams and IP vendors at the same time aligning external suppliers with Intel SoC IP technical requirements per SOC schedules.
Daily job demands will include Daily/Weekly technical interface to manage all technical dependencies with the IP supplier.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, program management of external IP for successful SOC development, review of IP technical publications for compliance to Intel external publication policies, management of IP collaboration efforts, facilitation of supplier Technology Roadmap Meetings, initiation and support of Design IP User Groups, management of the Design IP evaluation process, management of IP standards initiatives, support of IP audit and training, and support for all related collateral, including CNDA's, RUNDAs, SOWs.
You will be working closely with our Global Operations and Contracts Negotiation and Compliance Teams along with our support partners in Intel Legal and Finance.
Must have a BS + 6 yrs. exp.; MS + 4 yrs. exp.; or PhD + 2 yrs. exp. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience managing customers or suppliers for external IP suppliers or SOC ingredients at a technical level is required along with management of global initiatives. Understanding of the SoC ecosystem with a solid understanding of IP ingredients, software stack, market dynamics, supplier IP offerings, and the external IP landscape is preferred.
You must be a self-motivated, flexible individual capable of working independently as well as on a multisite team and should have a tolerance for dealing with ambiguity.
You will need to demonstrate customer orientation skills, should have strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to multi-task, since you will be providing service to the internal engineering community.
You must be very detail oriented and comfortable working in an office environment with very senior team members.
You must be able to problem solve, should demonstrate the ability to use multiple resources to resolve customer issues, and should be proficient in the documentation of procedures as they are developed.
Strong communication and influencing skills required since the majority of our communications with internal customers, partners and external suppliers are via telephone and email.
This position requires some travel, however, given the global distribution of Intel's design teams and suppliers, there will be meetings scheduled outside of your normal business hours.
This position requires being available for off hour issue resolution.
