Intel Manufacturing Systems Engineer Intern in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description

The Manufacturing Systems Engineering team drives development and continuous improvement of factory, automation, materials and labor systems to optimize manufacturing performance of current and next-generation technologies. MSE Internship responsibilities include planning and executing defined projects in the areas of WIP management, quality improvement, labor systems and factory automation. Using Lean methodologies, MSEs identify and proactively eliminate sources of waste within the factory environment. Requires working with a team of engineers and technicians in the Assembly Technology Development manufacturing department to develop solutions to improve the factory and streamline processes.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering program: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Chemical, Materials Science, or any other related field of study.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 months of experience with JMP, SQL, and VBA Macros is highly desirable
