Intel Package Design Contract Position in Phoenix, Arizona
Responsibilities include the development and preparation of multidimensional layouts and detailed drawings of semiconductor package assemblies. Responsibilities may be directed at a specific point in the design cycle, or vary as the project progresses through the design stage. Assignments are somewhat complex in nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters. Judgment is required in resolving moderately complex problems. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new work.
This US based position does not experience a shortage of qualified U.S. Workers. Intel limits its sponsorship of individuals possessing temporary work authorization or requiring a visa to those positions for which we experience a shortage of qualified and available U.S. Workers. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a US Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government.
This a temporary assignment for 12 months.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mentor Xpedition IC Packaging Layout (preferably VX2.4)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the following areas:
Package design layout
Familiarity with Valor NPI & ODB++ Familiarity with Mentor Xpedition Package Integrator
