Intel Project Controls Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona
The Project Controls Analyst will report to the manager of the Intel Federal Project Controls team within the Intel Federal Business management. The Intel Federal Business Management team is responsible for the Business and operational execution of programs sponsored by the US Federal Government. This position is within Intel Federal LLC a wholly-owned Intel subsidiary that manages contracts with the U.S. Government (USG) in support of various Intel business units.
The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for providing scope, cost, schedule, risk, and ad hoc analyses and reports to Intel Federal Program Managers to enable successful decision making during planning, execution, and close-out of US Government contracts. Responsible for assisting with work structuring, WBS development, EAC, ETC, forecasting, pricing, schedule and baseline development using MS Project or other Scheduling tools. Responsible for progress tracking, actuals tracking, change control management, and forecasting using standard techniques. Responsible for providing specified project controls status reports to the USG. Will support Finance with planning, reporting, and auditing requirements. Ensure the proper implementation of EVMS through the use of standardized processes, tools, and reports. Will support timekeeping maintenance and reporting as required. Compile and generate reports to meet specific government standards per CDRL specifications. Support Federal government compliance requirements and support internal/external auditors. Provide recommendations for business process improvements.
The person in this role will have day-to-day interaction with the core engineering delivery teams as well as branches of the Intel Federal organization: PMO, Finance, Legal, HR and Compliance. Will collaborate with Program Managers to enable success of the engineering resources that are domestic, international and external subcontractors. They will also ensure adherence to records management and archiving requirements.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, Program Management, Accounting, or Technical.
3+ years’ experience in Earned Value Management
4+ years’ experience in the following:
Building program budgets and forecasts
Building risk management and change control processes
Product development lifecycle
