Intel Software Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
We're looking for talented engineers to create, develop, test, and support factory automation systems that enable Intel to manufacture leading edge semiconductors as part of its Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) Automation organization. As an infrastructure support engineer, you will integrates, test, install, configure, and/or support factory automation systems. Other responsibilities include: Coordinates factory requirements, maps them to automation systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions. Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems. Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs. Serves as site expert for a designated set of automation systems, including representing integrated needs in cross-functional and cross-site teams. Position may include some software development of related enhancements, supplemental systems, and/or support and monitoring tools.
This is an entry level position and would be compensated accordingly.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Posses a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Systems or related degree.
Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Windows Server 2003 & 2008 operating systems, SAN/3PAR storage, Enclosure C7000 setup and sustaining, HP ProLiant blade and rack mount hardware, VMware Virtualization.
Candidate should possess detailed Project Management skills, good understanding of basic network protocols, build-out and setup of clusters - hardware and software.
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Data Center Management.
Linux Operating System.
Tivoli / Altiris.
