Intel Technical Writer and Training developer - TEMPORARY in Phoenix, Arizona
The Inventory Supply and Strategy (ISS) group within the internal Supply Planning and Operations (SPOi) Group in Intel's Supply Chain is responsible for leading strategic direction for the Mid-Range factory loadings plan, lead strategic improvement for SPOi including future planning visions and work across SPOi and external teams to bring ever improving technology to operations.
This role within the ISS group will work with Supply Chain data and analytics: Technical documentation for an internal analytics platform, Training documentation for Platform support and Training material for Self Service analytics users.
Key activities in this role include:
Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
Online and onsite training of clients when required
Create a knowledge base
Create video guides
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
Experience in Technical documentation or technical writing . Additional experience in training material development preferred including video and web experience.
Excellent written skills in English
