Intel Technology Development Module Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description

Position is a Module Engineer on Shift (MEOS) in the ATTD(Assembly Test Technology Development) supporting Media, Inspection, Handling and Laser Mark module engineering group. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong leadership and technical background with capabilities to develop and sustain process technologies. In this position, you will be assisting in the development process on the Inspection, Handling and Laser Mark equipment to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield, productivity and manufacturability requirements.

Responsibilities: Recipe development for New Product Introductions (NPIs) on multiple toolsets, process optimizations, yield improvement, maintaining process control systems (PCS), stability/capability assessments, and tool availability improvements.

-Working in a highly complex environment interfacing with multiple development groups including Packaging Design, Manufacturing, Materials Development, Silicon Integration, Platform Integration, Equipment Development, and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) factories

  • Driving improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability and/or capability, productivity and safety and/or ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment and operating personnel

  • Developing strategy to resolve difficult problems and establishing systems to deal with these problems in the future

  • Training production and/or receiving process engineers for transfer to other factories

  • Primary responsibilities are executed on the production floor.

This position requires working a compressed day/night shift to support a 24X7 development environment. Must maintain flexibility to shift assignments for critical build support.

Must be flexible with changing priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor's or MS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Physics. A similar Engineering degree with engineering technology development prior experience will be considered.

  • Minimum of 3 months of experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles

  • Candidate must be willing to work on a compressed workweek schedule. Shifts are twelve hours long and rotate from three to four days a week

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 months of experience on troubleshooting/programming of manufacturing equipment.
