Intel Test Process Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
A successful candidate will own definition, development and transfer of test processes into the Assembly/Test virtual factory. Duties include research and development of new process technologies, defining customer requirements, managing process development, collaboration with internal and external development partners, support of virtual factory ramp and technical problem solving to ensure that transfer certification goals are met. The position requires extensive interaction with technology development partner organizations, internal suppliers, Product Divisions, Q&R and Test Factories.
This position requires strong technical leadership, process development, project management, and communication skills. In addition a successful candidate must have expert level ability to develop and troubleshoot/debug software, motherboards, various interfaces and test content, including firmware and interactions with power delivery, machine control and thermal control systems. The capability to take a product/process through all stages of product development, foster teamwork and influence decisions with little supervision is required.

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
Familiarity with the following: schematics, board-level debug, hardware test, measurement equipment, mechanical, thermal and control systems.
Knowledge of experimental design and statistical concepts.
Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Statistical analysis and design of experiments with experience using JMP or other statistical SW.
Excellent teamwork and people skills.
Background in process or equipment development, equipment design, device testing methods or concepts, or high volume manufacturing would be an added advantage.
