Intel Test R&D Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
Design, Debug and conduct hardware acceptance of Printed Circuit Boards for electrical test of Intel products.
Develop methodology and metrology for assessing capability of electrical systems on printed circuit boards and individual components assembled on printed circuit boards;
Perform simulation and measurements of these systems and new technology
Path-finding through test strategy development
Develop design rules for electrical systems on printed circuit boards
Signal integrity and power delivery assessment for board and new components
Electrical and mechanical qualification of these components build by PCB house
Write purchase specifications, review and ratify designs, perform hands on qualification of new technologies, design and execute experiments to validate new systems, perform inspections, reliability testing, statistical analysis, final technical assessment and reporting, and communicate of experimental results and risks
Interface with internal groups, Factory customers as well as external suppliers
Meet production quality and reliability requirements
Plan and schedules daily tasks, use judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices,
This is an entry level position and would be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Posses an MS or Ph. D in Electrical Engineering.
Demonstrated knowledge in electrical system design.
Demonstrated knowledge in the following simulation tools: Spice, ADS, HFSS, PowerSI
Demonstrated knowledge in lab measurements with waveform generators, scopes, vector network analyzers, BER analyzers, TDR tools.
Demonstrated knowledge in high-speed IO test and end-to-end SERDES analysis.
Experience in electrical system design
