Intel Pre-Silicon Virtual Prototype Development Engineer in San Diego, California

Job Description

The Candidate will be responsible for design and development of Virtual Prototype models and platforms for intel Modem Chipset physical layer subsystems. these virtual prototype platforms are targeted for FW/SW verification before silicon availability, The candidate will align with the end users and chip architecture team to come up with pre- si verification platform architecture/test environment/framework using virtual prototype modeling. the candidate will also be responsible for supporting the FW/SW teams across geos during SW/FW bring up.


  • Masters or Bachelors degree in engineering majoring in electronics/computer sciences, with minimum 5 years experience in programming in embedded systems domain of which minimum 2 years experience developing/working with virtual prototype platforms based on SystemC/RTL based emulation platforms.

  • Good expertise in C, C++ programming

  • Prior experience in SystemC programming is preferable

  • Work experience in the cellular modem and digital signal processing area is an advantage
