Job Description

This is an internship position.

Intel's Olympics Technology Group brings the latest Intel technology to the Olympic games in order to showcase a broad range of products/capabilities and drive business opportunities.

The Hardware and Systems Co-op will help build the hardware foundations and platforms for various artificial intelligence projects. The co-op will work with the Computer Vision/AI team to design the camera architecture layout and communications to power Intel's projects. We are looking for motivated candidates with excellent problem solving skills, familiarity with machine vision, and extensive experience in designing robust camera systems.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields such as Computer Science or Physics, or Applied Math.

  • 3 months + experience developing AI or Computer Vision prototypes.

  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in PCB design, embedded systems, cameras, and optics.

  • Experience designing professional hardware and software.

  • Previous experience with optics and complex camera systems.

  • Interest and knowledge of sports, bio mechanics, and athlete analytics preferred.
