The Business Manager role is a great individual contributor opportunity, for someone that is looking to bring their previous experience in complex digital semiconductor, and help the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) accelerate our market share and revenue growth for one, or more, market segment(s) in North America (NA).

As a Business Manager, you will partner with vertical business units, sales, marketing, finance, operations, customers, and other business groups, as we deliver quality solutions, and expand our customer base. You will be a key driver in evaluating and recommending opportunities where PSG’s products and solutions build additional value to both the customers and Intel. You will ensure successful and timely execution of all requirements needed to provide the highest level of service to our customers. You will develop, execute on, and present to executive management, on both short and long-term business plans to achieve overall PSG organizational goals.

Your day to day may include, but not limited to:

  • Achieve design win goals through collaboration with sales, uncovering opportunities, understanding customer requirements, analyzing competitive situation, aligning with internal/external partners, evaluating alternative solutions, and making technical/commercial proposal

  • Deliver value proposition to differentiate products and solutions to customers

  • Setting commercial terms and leading in negotiation

  • Drive long term growth by building relationships, creating strategies, and facilitating technology collaboration with key customers and partners

  • Manage business development and marketing activities in conjunction with Product Marketing and market segment Business Units

  • Create and communicate market segment long-term outlook, contributing to the strategic plan

  • Create and execute operation plan, review and present progress to management regularly

  • Contribute to solution and product development by partnering closely with strategic and product marketing


  • 5+ years of experience working, preferably in a FPGA, ASIC, GPU, SoC, or related team and/or company

  • Experience in a technical business-related role (ex. technical sales, technical marketing, technical business development, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSEE, BSCS, BSCE or related preferred)

Preferred (Additional) Qualifications

  • Experience as a customer marketing manager, or business manager, preferably with complex semiconductor products/solutions.

  • Market segment experience in Automotive, Communications, Consumer, Data Center, Industrial, Medical, Public Sector, Test, Video, etc. is desirable

  • MBA is a plus
