Intel Director of Embedded Industrial and Auto in San Jose, California
As part of Intel, Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) accelerates a smart and connected world with the best programmable solutions. As Sr. Director of PSG Embedded Industrial and Auto business, you will strategically identify, plan, position and grow business within these segments. You will lead the Industrial and Automotive team to defines the best segment solutions and drive the growth and owns the business results in the market. This includes responsibilities for the definition and execution of strategic initiatives, key customer relationships, solution roadmaps, partner ecosystem development, sales enablement and outbound marketing in support of Intel's overall business goals.
This role is highly visible across PSG and other Intel groups. Your specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Own business responsibility, including revenue and design-win targets in the industrial and auto market segments
Develops effective strategies to appropriately position products with external stakeholders with Marketing and Intel Sales to drive adoption, design wins, and revenue
Evangelize PSG's value propositions and solutions in this segment to customers, field sales and distribution partners.
Proven experience in building a high-performance team, developing leaders, driving necessary organizational change and culture. Continually enhances organizational and leadership capabilities to create a diverse, growth-capable, collaborative team.
Own resolution of critical customer issues by escalating them to cross-functional teams and influencing resource prioritization
Ensure successful management of existing partner relations and build long-term strategic relationships with key end customers. Ability to collaborate and partner effectively within a large and complex organization, leverage the unique capabilities of Intel's existing solutions and architectures, and influence the direction of future solutions and associated revenue growth for Intel.
Drive initiatives to influence silicon development and create IP solutions to position Intel PSG as a leader in the targeted applications
Established record of success as a senior-level leader within the programmable/FPGA or related technology business, or in key end-user markets
Established record of success in managing at the executive level down to front line engineering
Direct experience in business development and technical/solution development roles
General management experience encompassing business development, applications and engineering experience as part or entirety of prior roles highly desired
Strong business acumen coupled with technical proficiency
This role requirements for International and Domestic business travel to customers, partners, other Intel sites and tradeshows.
� 10+ Prior experience in leading a department and business development efforts of an acquired company and working with the larger organization to develop a synergy portfolio preferred
� BS or equivalent in a related engineering field plus 10+ years relevant leadership experience
� 5+ years experience presenting technical and business topics at all levels, both internally and with customers and partners
� Willing to travel (domestic & international).
