Intel FPGA Architect in San Jose, California
As a member of the Intel FPGA Architecture Team, you will play a leading role in the definition, evaluation and modeling of various aspects of Intel's FPGA families. Our team focuses on the architecture of programmable logic and interconnect, as well as digital signal processing blocks, memory hierarchy, specialized accelerators, configuration, and many other areas of FPGA programming and usage. You will be responsible for developing architectural techniques to improve performance, decrease power, optimize cost, and improve ease of use of Intel's programmable fabrics. You will also develop software and algorithms to take advantage of new architectural features in Intel's Quartus FPGA software kit.
The successful candidate's minimum qualifications will include the following:- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years industry or post-graduate experience- Knowledge of C/C++ and strong software engineering skills- Proficiency in scripting languages Python- Knowledge of HDL Verilog/VHDL/System Verilog- Circuit simulations in SPICE/VCS Familiarity with some of the following topics is a plus:- Practical experience developing EDA algorithms: compilers, synthesis, clustering, partitioning, placement, routing, etc- Basic graph algorithms- Custom logic and physical design- Experience with solvers ILP, SAT
