Intel Product Line Management Leader in San Jose, California
The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG, formerly Altera) seeks a Product Line Management leader responsible for insuring consistent and ongoing efficiency within the PSG Marketing organization. This role has a broad, comprehensive scope of responsibilities with a specific charter of promoting and maintaining the productivity and efficiency of the marketing team with focus on people, process, tools and standards.

The Marketing Organization is a critical part of PSG’s growth story. As such, the Marketing team is growing and has recently transformed to pace with new market opportunities.
The Product Line Management (PLM) leader reports to PSG’s Vice President of Marketing and integral to team performance. A key contributor to the growth and scale of PSG, The candidate will insure that the PSG Product Line Management Marketing team anticipates and responds to business needs and delivers accordingly. Working with the VP of Marketing The candidate will set priorities for the team, drive PLM ARs, deliver PLM programs to drive broad market adoption of PSG portfolio products, create sales enablement material to aid the design win process, ensure efficient management of slow moving inventory (SMI), inventory and reserves by closely collaborating with business management, supply/demand, sales and finance teams. The candidate will measure results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and measures/manages performance to plan.
The Scope of work for this role includes:
Measurements – delivers the methods and process to insure alignment of Marketing Strategic Objectives and commitments to deliverables through the creation of sales collateral, product attribute guidance, market/competitive positioning and maintenance of scorecards/dashboards
Communications - creates, manages and drives PLM processes to ensure profitable business engagements, slow moving inventory (SMI) management, inventory/reserves management effective design win support agendas, creates reports, presentations; interprets information and creates content required for internal and external stakeholder needs and updates, includes driving meeting and work session content.
Staffing- for the team is the point of contact for PSG cross functional teams (planning, engineering, sales, business management, manufacturing operations, and finance) to insure efficient management of all PLM responsibilities required for effective engagement with field resources, customers, and suppliers.
Process – creates/maintains and communicates PLM work process flows by documenting information and requirements with related operational departments and participating with and providing resources to business improvement teams.
Quality Standards -promoting visibility and measuring to marketing systems, policy and procedures, measuring demand response, works in progress, stakeholder satisfaction
Content/Tools/Technology- creation and management of the tools and process to house PLM team content, collateral and communications
Finance/Budgeting – measures, manages and communicates PLM budgets and expenses, manages budgeting changes and is a primary point of contact for budget requests and changes .

Strong project management and business partnering/influencing skills, disciplined process management, problem-solving skills, multitasking ability and attention to quality and detail.
Individual should be highly organized, proactive, and have excellent proactive calendar management and planning skills.
Leading/driving/participation in process and/or technology transformation, change management
Creation and Management of Content Management and the content management process
Understanding of PSG’s/Intel's/Technology product roadmaps and ideally experience with more than 2 of Intel businesses is a plus.
Extensive experience with MS Suite of Applications including Visio/SharePoint/Project
· BA/BS+ in Business Management/Operations/Communications or related discipline
· 10 + years of experience working within a Technical Marketing Organization ideally in roles that have worked closely with Sales, business groups, senior executives and with customers. MBA a plus.
· 5+ years prior people management is a strong plus
· 8+ years experience developing and driving marketing strategy and comms, working closely with finance, and account teams is highly desired
