Job Description

Job assignments are usually for the summer, but this role has the possibility to extend into the Fall semester until December 2018.The position requires the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects while balancing deadlines and priority levels, in addition to communicating the progress of current projects with the team. The ideal candidate will exhibit the following behavioral traits: Ability to track and prioritize tasks to deliver quality products as part of a Scrum team. Verbal and written communication skills. Working independently and with several members of a team. Organizational skills.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must be pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

6+ months of experience in the following areas:

  • Computer science concepts

  • Programming language such as Python, JAVA or C.

  • Database design and usage SQL, noSQL, mongo, etc.

  • Web applications

Preferred Requirements:

6+ months of experience in the following areas:

  • Debug and develop Java/C++/C code

  • Document and Run functional and performance tests
