The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) at Intel has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team focused in the areas of synthesis and physical synthesis. This senior manager will help define the technical roadmap and lead the team towards large scale improvements in Fmax, runtime, memory and scalabity of the Quartus compiler.
MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with :
Minimum 8 years of work experience with Synthesis and Physical Synthesis development in ASIC/FPGA CAD tools.
Experience handling large scale software development in C/C++, knowledge of efficient data structures and algorithms and experience with numerical optimization techniques is expected.
