Job Description

As part of Intel, The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) continues to apply Moore's Law to drive the future of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and Software Development flow, and take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for SoC FPGA's. FPGA Development Tools are critical for our customers' success in implementing their designs with Intel PSG's FPGAs, in the shortest possible time and with highest productivity.

As the team lead of Software Tools Marketing Team, you will own the marketing objectives for Software IP and tools (High Level Synthesis Tools, Quartus, and Embedded Software) for Intel PSG's FPGAs. Beyond Intel PSG's development tools, you will also work with partners to build out a strong ecosystem of 3rd party development tools. Cooperating with other teams including product planning, corporate marketing, and Intel PSG's sales channels, you will have an important role in the success of FPGAs and set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. You will be responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales service to customers, planning and scheduling work to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks, using judgement in data analysis to develop and design solutions for moderately complex processes.

Your specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for worldwide marketing strategies, product positioning and messages which are executed globally which deliver against Corporate Brand and business unit sales goals. Responsibilities can be in a wide variety of marketing areas including: brand marketing, assessment of potential markets, product life cycle planning, coordination of technical product development, development of product strategies, and definition of promotional activities, event management, and product launch.   • Lead and manage Software tools marketing team

  • Promote Intel PSG's SoC FPGAs Quartus/OpenCL/DSP Builder/Embedded SW tools

  • Execute marketing campaigns in cooperation with corporate marketing

  • Define product launches and marketing campaigns

  • Manage and promote development tools partnerships

  • Define the marketing mix and product messaging for software tools

  • Educate and support the sales channels on how to leverage development tools for FPGA sales

  • Participate in industry events to drive awareness of tools solutions for Intel PSG's FPGAs

  • This position may require periods of travel, including to international locations

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, sales, or customer facing role (15+ years is highly desirable)

  • 5+ years of experience in a software development and/or FPGA related software tools role(s)

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree (MS / MBA is an advantage)
