Intel Xeon + FPGA Programmable Acceleration Design Engin in San Jose, California

As a Xeon+FPGA Programmable Acceleration Design Engineer, you will have an integral role in designing and delivering innovative Xeon+FPGA accelerator architectures with rich feature sets to deliver higher levels of performance, energy-efficiency and value that form the computing backbone of the connected world. In this position, you will be a member of the platform development team in Intel's Programmable Solutions Group PSG. You will be responsible for developing the FPGA platform logic connected to Xeon processors using Intel's latest FPGA technologies targeting server-oriented computing products. In this role all aspects of FPGA development including: developing platform FPGA features in RTL using Verilog / SystemVerilog, RTL simulation, logic optimization, synthesis, FPGA floorplanning, timing closure. A sound understanding of RTL and FPGA design practices is important. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following behaviors, Strong track record of taking initiative and drive projects to completion, strong communication skills and ability to influence and work across large teams.
RequirementsB.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.5+ years hands-on FPGA development experience including synthesis, placement, optimization and timing closure.5+ years hands-on Verliog and/or SystemVerilog experience.Experience with Intel/Altera Quartus II software or Xilinx ISE or Vivado.Experience with interface and memory protocols such as PCIe, 10G/40G/100G Ethernet, and DDR4 helpful.Experience with scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, or Python helpful.Experience with device drivers helpful.
