Job Description

The smart and connected future of self-driving cars, drones, wearables and smart cities will be enabled by 5G networks and devices. 5G is not just another generation of wireless connectivity 5G is a fundamental shift to a computing platform rather than the personal communications platform of 3G and 4G. 5G will enable the Internet of Things & people, connecting billions of devices to each other and to the cloud. Intel is applying its end-to-end expertise in networking, data analytics, cloud computing, and wireless communications to enable the 5G smart and connected future.

The Global Marketing and Communications 5G Marketing team is responsible for developing & executing on global marketing & communications strategies that result in Intel gaining thought leadership voice and perception in 5G market and industry. The 5G Marketing Manager will play a critical role in driving 5G marketing activities for major events from the Olympics to Mobile World Congress. You will also engage with the broader ecosystem including Telecom Equipment Manufactures TEMs, Communication Service Providers CoSP and Industry players driving 5G enablement, demos, trials and use cases. You will work across Intel Business organizations and Centers of Excellence (COE's) with key stakeholders including marketing teams, demo teams and technology owners to develop and refine 5G use cases. You will work on the execution of 5G marketing plans including events participation, content creation, PR and executive speakerships. You will be the driving force behind illustrating the 5G vision and leveraging activities in targeted verticals to illustrate the future of 5G Proof point development, research and data illustrating vision of 5G and Intel leadership in 5G. Engage with key partners to enable use cases and target key verticals. You will meet with Sales & Marketing Group (SMG) account teams, Intel 5G technology owners and other business units (BU) marketing teams to bring 5G to life with partner engaged use cases, industry studies and thought leadership communications at events and summits.


Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communications or a related discipline (Master’s preferred)

  • 10 years marketing strategy expertise

  • Solid messaging and co-marketing experience.

  • Industry knowledge of wireless, telecoms and/or networking and cloud platforms a must.

  • Exceptional communications skills.
