Intel ATPG Engineer in Santa Clara, California
Come join our team supporting test solutions for programs in SEG (Silicon Engineering Group). In this role, you be responsible for all aspects of enabling test content targeting manufacturing defects as part of server microprocessor designs focused on scan-based ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation). Tasks will include: use-model validation, infrastructure development, content validation via simulation and emulation, targeted content generation, hand-off of tester-ready patterns, and post-silicon support and debug.
Partner with Register-Transfer Level (RTL) and Physical Design teams to create scan-enabled netlists
Analyze netlists for coverage and validation issues, providing feedback for improvement
Develop and support tools, flows, and methods for volume ATPG execution, fault management, and coverage analysis
Deliver validated scan patterns to post-Silicon partner teams for screen of manufactured microprocessors.
Support debug of any test content failures in the post-Silicon environment.

Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science or related field.
1+ years of experience in debug skills in digital logic and architecture as exhibited by previous simulation/emulation.
1+ years of experience with defect-targeted test solutions, industry-standard ATPG tools and validation flows and methodologies.
Experience in software/scripting proficiency (Perl, C++, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with test-related concepts, ATPG, functional test, DFT/DFx a plus.
