Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Data Center Group (DCG) as a Cloud Solutions Architect!
The Cloud Software Architect is responsible for researching and recommending specific systems, applications, data, or process designs for very large or complex cloud infrastructure solutions. In instances where the solution does not exist, they are relied upon to invent a unique solution. They design, develop, and analyze overall architecture to determine that hardware, software and data architecture solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs. In this role you will lead on architectural governance, make decisions related to projects, and participate as part of a cross functional architecture decision group both collaboratively within Intel and as an externally regarded leader in the space.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below.
Strong background in software modeling of hardware systems, programming in modern systems oriented languages object oriented, garbage collected, etc.
Deep understanding of networking hardware design.

The Data Center Group (DCG) drives new products technologies from high-end co-processors for supercomputers to low-energy systems for enterprise and the cloud, as well as solutions for big data and intelligent devices. The group is a worldwide organization that develops the products and technologies that power nine of every 10 servers sold worldwide.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 9 years of industry work experience, Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus industry work experience.
4 plus years of experience developing software in object-oriented environment.
4 plus years of experience developing commercial networking ASICs.
4 plus years of demonstrated ability to understand and apply networking design concepts.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree preferred.
History/record of published work in this specific field or a related field is a plus.
