Intel Compiler Engineer in Santa Clara, California
In this role, you will develop software as the primary job function; you will design, develop, debug & test complex software in compilers field. You may work directly with companies developing and optimizing compilers and other software technologies.
Responsibilities include but not limited to design, development and maintenance of compiler proprietary and LLVM Open Source toolchain with primary focus on enabling and tuning for a IA technology, performance testing and code analysis aimed to improve execution performance through compiler optimizations.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous school, industry jobs and/or research experience.
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science or similar with 3 years , MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science or similar with 2 years or PhD with 1 year of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science or similar
2 years of experience with C and C++ programming language
Knowledge of Linux development environment and tools
Understanding of algorithms design and data structures
Familiarity with one or more scripting languages, such as bash, python or Perl
Knowledge of internal compiler architecture and basic code optimizations
Experience of work with Open Source communities
Knowledge of performance analysis approaches and tools for profiling and analysis
Familiarity with x86 Intel Architecture
