Job Description

The Stationary Segment and Innovation Group (SSIG) represents a critical piece of the PC business. This role is a part of the content marketing team, which is chartered to develop and communicate compelling stories, narratives and proof points that convey platform and product differentiation for consumer desktops and workstations. Our focus is primarily designed for our ecosystem, arming our OEM & field teams with the targeted strategies, plans and content to maximize sales opportunities for consumer desktop and workstation businesses.

As a Content Marketing Intern, you'll join a nimble and driven group of seasoned managers, and have an opportunity to contribute to the business in the following ways:

  • Contribute to strategy plans that support SSIG business segments (including event strategy).

  • Participate in key research projects and source data with cross-company teams that will contribute to marketing stories and narratives we design to support key business segments.

  • Program management and maintain overall SSIG presence plan and readiness for internal and/or top tier industry events. Attend key events and staff demos on show floor (TBD).

  • Manage SSIG execution calendar and program reviews for the team's go-to-market efforts. Analyze program results and develop post-mortem reports with recommendations.

  • Collaborate with both internal and 3rd party teams to create content and collateral designed to support sales and account teams.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business and/or program management focus.

  • 3+ months of experience with:

  • Translate technical language and concepts into targeted messages, positioning, and talking points.

  • Consumer marketing or product (or software) marketing experience.

  • Marketing communications, PR, research, events or social media.

  • Program or project management.

  • Availability for at least 6 months internship.
