Intel Deep Learning Intern in Santa Clara, California
The Intel Sports Innovation (Pathfinding) team is looking for a candidate for an internship during Spring, or Summer 2019 in Santa Clara, CA. At Pathfinding tam, we develop prototypes, algorithms and experiences to achieve new immersive media for the Intel Sports Group.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a software technical nature. Experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.
The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Development of application leveraging different frameworks such as: tensorflow, caffe2, among Others.
Development and deployment of different frameworks for cloud computing (e.g. containers)
Comfortable in a fast-paced research environments where the set of problems and applications areas change rapidly.
Ability to create rapid prototypes and is comfortable with practical applications and implementation of machine learning techniques
Implementation of high performance software applications in c/c++, python, and parallel programming targeting computer vision and image processing algorithms
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing a Bachelor in Computer Eng., Computer Science, Electrical Eng., or other related field.
Excellent programming skills in C/C++, Python, or CUDA/OpenCL/OpenMP
Expertise in machine learning, neural networks, recommendation systems, deep learning
Experience in computer vision and/or image processing algorithms
Exposure to parallel and cloud computing
