Intel Device Characterization Lab Technician in Santa Clara, California
Responsible for technical functions in support of characterization and testing engineering activities in a device test laboratory. This role requires ability to maintain electrical test and characterization equipment in working order and performing to specifications, ability to perform electrical, mechanical and software troubleshooting to determine problems, and ability to set-up, calibrate and perform basic debug on test equipment. In addition, the role requires coordination with health & safety to ensure the laboratory is maintained to appropriate standards, and coordination with equipment vendors and other lab coordinators to ensure all equipment is maintained to specification. The role also requires the ability to perform basic electrical characterization in support of engineering work.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Must have an associates degree in any technical field, military training or technical certifications.
Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, pulse generator, parameter analyzer, power supplies, etc.
Minimum 6 months relevant experience on automated test platforms such as Advantest, Verigy, Teradyne, Nextest, Ultraflex
Must have unrestricted right to work in the US without sponsorship
Experience working with Cascade micro-probe systems
Experience working with heaters and chillers used in test equipment
Experience working with packaged-die testing Experience with tester code debug and/or code development
