Intel Director, Legal Investigations in Santa Clara, California

Job Description

Intel is seeking an seasoned attorney with significant corporate investigation experience to serve as Director, Corporate Legal Investigations in the Ethics and Legal Compliance Group ELC.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee, conduct, and coordinate internal investigations directed by the Legal Department

  • Respond to external inquiries, report to executive management, and maintain and enhance the operations, procedures and processes governing legal-directed investigations

  • Partner with Internal Audit, Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Security, Information Security, and Intel Federal on our cross-functional investigations governance team

  • Manage one or more adjacent ethics or compliance programs in ELC.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current US State bar membership

  • Minimum 10+ years legal practice, including significant investigation and litigation experience

  • Significant litigation, enforcement agency, and in-house experience at a large multi-national company.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, including influencing and interacting at all levels

  • Expertise in forensic technology strongly preferred.

  • DOJ or other relevant agency experience strongly preferred.

  • Technologically savvy, with a focus on forensic tools and technology

  • Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours.

  • Full or in-house membership in the bar of the state in which you reside will also be required.

  • Unquestionable integrity

  • Outstanding judgment and discretion on confidential matters

  • Extensive experience conducting investigations in multiple jurisdictions and countries

  • Experience implementing a global ethics, compliance or investigative program at a multi-national company

  • Superior interpersonal skills, with excellent executive presence

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, ambiguous and changing environment

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Outstanding judgement, excel at legal analysis, possess superior written and oral communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills,
