Intel Experienced Logic Design Engineer in Santa Clara, California
Component Design Engineers are responsible for the design and development of electronic components.
Responsibilities may include:
Design of chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization
Documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout
Modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components
Perform developmental and/or test work, review product requirements and logic diagrams
Plan and organize design projects or phases of design projects
Respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur
Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline with minimum 2 years working experience architecture and logic design for high speed serial IO
Working experience with front end tools VCS, CDC, Verdi and Spyglass
Good understanding of power domain, power gating and UPF coding for power domain partitioning
Logic debug experience for pre-si simulation failures
