- Manage team of US Performance architects working on P1 WL analysis, megafeature & config perf studies; and Mega-feature, TR program managers in PA team
a. Related responsibilities include running Forums for P1 WL analysts to share Perf Optimization BKMs, discuss Tools/Flows/Methodology issues, etc
Manage Workload BOD (Board-Of-Directors) forum which works with various stakeholders across Intel to specify priority list of workloads for each product/IP
Manage development of Architecture High Level Simulator (HLS), including but not limited to managing core team developing and maintaining code for HLS, and supporting infrastructure needed for HLS to get the stats needed for perf estimation from various models like Fulsim, Rasty, & Analytical models maintained by various teams
Work with SW team to support WL enablement & debug for Arch studies & Projections
Ensures platform and its components have the best performance and power balance specifically focusing on graphics hardware components. Research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the performance. Conducts system analysis on proprietary and competition platforms, develops advanced hardware tuning and overclocking.
BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering, MS Preferred
Candidate must have 10+ years of experience with the following, with minimum 5 years in a management role:
Architecture or micro-architecture background, preferably in the area of graphics
Performance data gathering techniques and/or simulation, and data analysis/interpretation to drive technical directions.
3D graphics pipeline, and industry standard 3D and GPGPU APIs: DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, etc.
