Intel Legal Administrative Assistant in Santa Clara, California
Intel Corporation has an immediate opening for a legal administrative assistant in the Licensing, Trademarks and Standards Group ("LTS"), which is comprised of the teams that manage (1) Intel's worldwide trademark activities; (2) standards-related legal activities and counseling; and (3) Intel's worldwide patent transactions and pre-litigation patent assertions. In this position, you will report to the Director of LTS and provide administrative and project-management related activities for the Director of LTS, as well as the standards and patent transactions sub-teams. The role requires handling of information that may be confidential and critical in nature.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Drafting and composing emails
Scheduling and coordinating logistics for meetings and events
Organizing and managing calendar/schedule(s)
Making travel arrangements and preparing expense reports
Maintaining and organizing office supplies
Managing the filing and tracking of correspondence and contract documents
Developing reports on operational activities and metrics, including some data analysis
Performing project management on requested operational activities and other matters
Serving as a resource related to policies and procedures and tools employed by the department
You must possess at least an Associate's degree in a relevant discipline.
5+ years of administrative support to legal groups or related experience.
Additional qualifications include:
Demonstrated proficiency with key administrative tools including Outlook* and/or E-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint*, Share Point
Know how to use Meeting Workspace, conference room and bridge scheduling
Know how to use Hummingbird or similar document management system preferred
Experience with CounselLink, or similar billing software preferred
Ability to deliver results and excel with minimum supervision in a fast paced, dynamic environment
A high degree of professionalism and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
Dependable and able to meet commitments
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to function in an interrupt-driven environment and to prioritize work as needed to meet business needs
Ability to coordinate extensive meeting requests with numerous participants and secure conference rooms and bridges as needed
Attention to detail to ensure flawless execution on assigned tasks
Ability to perform various administrative and project-related activities in support of an individual or large organization
General technical and business acumen skills
Ability to judge and make decisions in resolving moderately complex problems
