Job Description

The Next Generation and Standards organization is looking for a system architect for next-generation video encoding and decoding technology development and realization.

Some of the job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Research and development of new proprietary and standardization technical solutions for next-generation video technology.

  • Implementation of such solutions.

  • Participation in related international standardization activities as required.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Video/Graphics/Image Processing, Computer Vision, Signal Processing or other related field.

  • 1+ years of experience with:- Track record in video/media coding/compression e.g. H.264, H.265/HVC, AV1, MPEG, etc.- Image processing, real-time computer graphics, GPU communications and signal processing welcome.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with:- Standardization work and processes and track record as standardization delegate preferable.- Software, tools, methods: C/C++ , Python, MATLAB, networking, UNIX/Linux/MS Windows, real-time OS, SW development tools
