Intel Modem RF Verification & Automation Intern in Santa Clara, California
As a software engineering intern in the Modem RF validation team, you will work on building up & testing the AI Model(s) for data post processing which includes but not limited to : test results gathering and reporting, building peer-peer networking of automated machines, building new methods in conjunction to testing the firmware components for the Cellular RF Driver System across multiple Mobile Communication Standards including LTE, UMTS, TD-SCDMA, CDMA, GSM.

Some of the job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design, Implement AI Models for test results/data post processing across multiple test setups which covers several test cases in validating the cellular modem.
Strong coding skills and the ability to quickly grasp the test framework in Groovy/python & accordingly create new tests defining and describing production issues.
Debug FW/SW and System issues & convert the use cases in to test cases in Groovy/python.
Test results reporting automation.
Develops software as the primary job function
Designs, develops, debugs & tests complex software in any field e.g., systems software
Software development tools, applications, numerical methods, UI's, web data processing in python/C/C++.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
6+ months of experience with:
Automation, building AI models with python/java.
Building the AI models/testing them with huge datasets after gathering using Tensor flow APIs.
Python code development for testing framework, data processing & reporting.
Experience in RF signaling and measurements in cellular domain.
Experience with Cellular technologies like 5G, 4G , 3G, 2G, CDMA.
Technical experience with GNSS and other connectivity technologies.
Lab exposure on tool like CMW500, CMW100, Agilent 8969, Anrtisu call box etc.
