Intel Programmable Solution Group and Parallel Computing Lab are seeking a motivated researcher in the area of high-performance spatial programming. This is a full-time internship position located in Santa Clara, California.
Parallel Computing Lab, part of Intel Labs, focuses on compute- and data-intensive applications from enterprise and technical computing market segments, such as, traditional high-performance computing, emerging machine learning/AI, and big data analytics application segments. We work in close collaboration with leading academic and industry co-travelers in these application segments to understand the hardware and software architectural implications for Intel platforms.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Must be pursuing a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
Minimum of 9+ months experience with:
Spatial architectures (FPGAs and/or CGRAs).
Parallel programming models (OpenCL, SYCL, or CUDA, etc.).
Domain expertise in dense linear algebra, tensors, stencils, dynamic programming, etc.
Knowledge on the Halide language is a plus.
Publications in one or more of the areas mentioned above.
