Job Description

Principal Engineers at Intel are active technical leaders inside and outside the company. Activities include participation in major industry and academic conferences, voting membership in international standards committees, generation of patents and technical papers.

  • Define the next generation of architectural challenges, Identify key trends and project needs, ensure that the evaluation and identification of emerging trends/topologies cover more than the current Training/Inference Neural Network implementation; scope should include RL, Continuous Learning, and non-DL Machine Learning.

  • Be a key participant in the corporate-level ‘DL Accelerators Streamlining’ effort.

  • Understand multiple architecture streams and work effectively with senior technical leads from multiple Intel Groups in driving recommendation and cross-BU architecture strategies.

Qualifications

MS or PhD in CS, Artificial Intelligence or related field. Direct experience with Neural Net acceleration is required, and experience with similar areas (e.g., networking).
