As a Production Architect in the Production team, you will work on the Requirement analysis, Concept/Design of Cellular production related topics, and support of firmware components for the Cellular RF Driver System across multiple Mobile Communication Standards including LTE, UMTS, TD-SCDMA, CDMA, GSM, & 5G. You will interact with System Integration and Verification teams as well as collaborate with RF System-Engineering and Hardware Design Groups.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Requirement analysis for calibration of Rx and Tx chains and come up with Calibration procedure for given platform.

  • Analyzing and solving of technical issues during bring-up of the next generation mobile phone platform.

  • Technical support of internal and external customers of the Intel high-feature modem baseband components

  • Customer support by phone, mail and onsite for internal and external customers - Customer Consulting hardware, firmware

  • Generate technical documents defining and describing product issues and resolution details

  • Perform code review and SW/FW fixes and feature updates

  • Debug FW/SW and System issues, extract and analyze traces, pre-analysis of issues from various verification sessions IOT, GCT, field, customer

  • Discuss customer requirements/feedback with RF System Engineering Team


Bachelor, Masters or Ph,D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with minimum 8+ years of Wireless Systems experience in the following:

  • Leading requirement analysis and technical issue solution efforts during bring-up, including calibration of Rx and Tx chains

  • Generation of technical documents defining and describing product issues and resolution details

  • Experience leading bring up efforts and technical support of internal and Tier 1 external customers

  • Leading teams for design and specification, debug, and code review for FW/SW and System issues

  • Expertise in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) design and algorithm specification
