Intel Sales and Marketing Commodity Manager in Santa Clara, California

Job Description

In this role you will be required to work closely with senior leadership and strategic business unit managers in Corporate Strategic Procurement CSP, Sales and Marketing SMG and Global Marketing & Communications GMC in pursuit of best in class strategic sourcing and supplier management practices. This position has responsibility for: - Developing and executing the overall sourcing strategies including influencing and aligning with the key business partners across Intel. Must be able to balance, influence and align internal customer needs with corporate business goals.- Responsible for developing agency commercial engagements and the procurement life cycle including agency selection, negotiation planning, contract negotiations, and executing and ongoing maintenance of the agreements.- Manage agency performance. Develop and execute performance report cards, create and implement continuous improvement plans, drive review meetings and overall quality management. - Drive results tied to overall supply chain and CSP objectives including cost/affordability goals, environmental social governance, agency governance, Supplier Diversity and innovating new value. - Ensure compliance to Supply Chain specifications and controls.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicant.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You must possess a Bachelor's degree with three to five years of purchasing/supply chain experience or a Master's degree with one to three years of experience.

  • Prior knowledge developing and executing global sourcing strategies, supplier management and supply chain expertise. Experience and knowledge regarding contracts and negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Marketing or Marketing Sourcing is a distinct advantage.

  • Advanced education or certification in Supply Chain Management.
