Intel Service Provider- Sales & Business Development Manager in Santa Clara, California

This is a commissioned sales position in which an ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience in communications service provider industry and has instant credibility with our customers and ecosystem.

  • Has a sound technical knowledge in Cable, Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS), Fiber and Wireless (WiFI & 5G) to be able to influence Request For Informations (RFIs)/Request For Proposal(RFPs) from Service Providers and Win deals for Intel based Solutions

  • Excellent executive conversation skills with the ability to sell at Chief Technology Officer and Chief (CTO)Executive Officer (CEO) level leveraging both technical and business acumen.

  • Strong operational skills with the ability to use processes to set and track goals Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and escalate issues with high velocity and clarity.

A successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working with customers on joint sales and marketing programs which includes creative, imaginative and proactive marketing or business development programs.

  • Supports the major customer sales force and negotiates with many levels of customer management.

  • Represents Intel in third party relationships.

  • Requires extensive theoretical, practical, and industry knowledge.

  • Applies and/or develops highly advanced technologies, principles, and concepts.

-Develop a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution and code of ethics.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience working for a broadband service provider, Telecom Equipment Manufacturer, Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or (CPE) silicon provider enabling the candidate to combine the deep understanding of network equipment technologies.

  • 7+ years of developing business, leads and closing sales (deals).

  • Extensive Comms Hardware & Software experience.

  • Strong understanding of WiFi, Cable & Fiber technologies.

  • Excellent customer-facing, relationship building and influencing expertise.

Additional Profile Characteristics Preferred

  • 5+ years' work experience in with network virtualization, containerization, and software defined networks (SDN).

  • Strong technical and business acumen in the Comm Service Provider space.
