Intel Silicon Photonics Quality & Reliability Engineering Manager in Santa Clara, California
Join SPPD's QNR team as a Q&R Engineering Manager. In this position you will manage engineering team responsible for SiPh ICs, Si ICs and Optical modules qualifications and failure analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising Intel QREs, building and maintaining test infrastructures, executing reliability testing to identify performance degradation mechanisms, generating reliability reports, supporting failure analysis to identify root causes and corrective actions and ensuring that the corrective actions are implemented on the production line. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for driving vendor qualifications, technical audits and issues, ODM line certifications, ODM line excursion response and successfully driving customer issues, qualifications and audits.

The successful candidate must possess the minimum qualifications listed below to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous job and research experiences, both in academic institutes and in industry.
Must have either a MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Science, or related technical field
At least 4+ years' experience with characterization of high speed optical modules (10G/40G/100G/400G) and optical components (lasers, modulators, receivers)
At least 3 years' experience managing complex engineering projects
At least 3 years' experience supervising employees responsible for engineering activities (failure analysis, reliability testing, high speed characterization etc)
3+ year(s) experience with qualification of ICs/optical components using telcordia/JDEC standards and additional customer requirements
3+ year experience with design of Si IC, lasers, detectors and modulators
3+ year(s) experience in failure analysis of optical components and modules
