Job Description

Intel's Silicon Photonics Product Division is seeking an experienced program manager to own on-time execution of multiple advanced integrated photonic component development projects to support our product roadmap. You will partner with integration experts to drive component development and maturation from proof of concept to product release:- coordinate and effectively communicate with key partners in design, fabrication, test, Q&R, module, and operations teams- define and drive component development plan and schedule success- manage project budget and ensure spends are aligned with and within plan targets- identify cross-program resource/priority conflicts and propose resolution paths-devise learning metrics and effective business processes to drive faster product development cycles- proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and solutions to timely and efficiently achieve project goals or objectives while maintaining quality standards. - provide regular status update/summary to management. Minimum qualifications

Must have a MS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optical Science or related technical discipline

Minimum 4+ years experience managing multiple product development programs in a technically relevant discipline

First hand experience leading cross functional teams through the product lifecycle in photonic communication industry

Track record of managing projects for on-time, on-cost execution from design concept to manufacturing release

Prior experience with structured product development and manufacturing processes including FMEA practice, product lifecycle gate release process, change control processes, MES systems, etc. Prior experience working with Silicon foundries or contract manufacturers

Preferred qualifications

Hands-on experience with photonic component development

Working knowledge of silicon photonic technologies

Working knowledge of semiconductor processing
