Intel TD IE Technologist – Expat role to Dalian, China in Santa Clara, California

Job Description

Intel Dalian is rapidly expanding its 3D NAND high volume manufacturing facility, while starting-up a new Dalian Technology Development TD organization to develop future generations of 3D NAND process technologies.

This job requisition is for strong candidates for the positions of TD IE technologist to support DTD business development, reporting to F68 IE director.

  • The selected candidate will help to build up local TD IE team,

  • partner with TD ENG for capacity planning, facility/layout design criteria, IE systems development,

  • interface with Manufacturing team for boundary condition and execution alignment,

  • build systems and competencies to prepare for technology transfer from TD to HVM site.

  • The candidate must have demonstrated strong leadership capability with IE related working experience and will form and lead the TD IE group for the business process, system setup, resource planning activities and executing to TD roadmap.

  • Responsible for NTI MOR establishment, unique TOR modeling, cost of technology model development, capital planning and interface with factory about wafer/tool time/capacity allocation.

  • Must also be able to lead in a highly ambiguous and dynamic business environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BS, or MS in Industrial Engineering or engineering field

  • The candidate must have a minimum of 10+ years direct semiconductor experiences in both TD organization and/or High Volume Manufacturing (HVM), and must have strong skills and deep knowledge in IE management.

  • Candidate must have demonstrated a track record of excellence in creative problem solving, capacity/capital management and manufacturing process optimization for cost and productivity.

Preferred skill:

  • The direct working experiences or technical knowledge in non-volatile memory technology as a plus.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group: The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
