Intel Technical Program Manager for Intel Sports in Santa Clara, California
As a Technical Program Manager at Intel Sports, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Intel Sports broad products to external customers, including to Tokyo 2020 Olympics. It will be your job to ensure that the product is delivered per spec and on time, by orchestrating engineering deliveries in partnership with leads across the organization (product managers, field operation, etc.)
The ideal candidate demonstrates blended abilities of technical leader - people manager - project manager - and product manager. We value passionate program leadership that drives with technical diligence, and attention to details.
What will this person do?
Manage the program throughout its entire lifecycle: planning, execution, deployment, launch, maintenance, EOL
Manage the product planning until engineering sign-off: ensure clear requirements by product managers, ensure system architecture, and develop the engineering POR (schedule, budget, features)
Manage the overall program schedule, deliverables-receivables, issues, risks, and POR changes - until successful launch to customers, and post launch maintenance
Work closely with the global engineering team leads and managers (program managers, development, validation, architects, system engineers, security) in US, Israel and PRC to assure project completion
Learn and understand advanced technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines, and utilize this knowledge to accelerate project completion
Communicate the program status, health, issues and risks, and represent the program to organization management and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills with partners in different domains and background: Engineers, Product Managers, Marketing, Business Developers, Content Production, etc.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science, a related technical field.
9+ years of experience in the following areas:
Technical program manager, engineering manager, product manager or system engineer.
Experience in one or more of the following fields: Computer Vision, Media Processing, Cloud, Media Streaming or Gaming Streaming.
Managed (directly or indirectly) large scope programs, systems, products or teams.
Demonstrated ability to establish clear execution direction with incomplete requirements, in fast paced development environment.
Delivered products to external customers.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in agile scrum and waterfall development methodologies.
Experience in leading programs in global organization cross-geo.
Experience in delivering nascent products.
