Intel Testing Engineer – Component Architecture in Santa Clara, California
Responsible for testing of various optical and photonic components, systems, and subsystems for next generation highspeed silicon photonic products. Work closely with component and module design engineers for component characterization, optical subassembly testing, and data analytics. Assist with module and system testing. Develop test setup and test flow for optical device characterizations. Define test plan and characterize highspeed photodetectors. Perform highspeed receiver and transmitter subsystem testing. Perform optical system testing.
MS with 3 years of experience testing high speed Si and III-V photonic components in direct detect DD and coherent optical systems ie, modulators, detectors, lasers
Experience performing system measurements in DD/coherent communication systems
A deep understanding of the relevant performance metrics for DD/coherent systems SNR, OSNR, etc.
A deep understanding of component, subsystem, and system level testing hardware.
Have strong communication skills, and be able to work independently.
Experience with test automation, system modeling, and/or optical component design a plus
