Job Description

MTC DevOps is driving the transformation of systems level software development through DevOps at Intel. The MTC DevOps team is looking for a capable & motivated software development engineer to contribute to new projects that will have a significant impact on our business.

The MTC DevOps team is working on bringing new DevOps solutions and processes to improve software development at Intel. Our work involves every key stakeholder team that is critical to delivering our silicon, software, and systems on Windows. It's a highly collaborative environment which we work in, and we're looking for that next team member to help us out build new and exciting solutions. We are constantly looking for ways to streamline our Development & validation processes, focusing on efficiency through automation and database traceability.

The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to directly contribute to multiple areas that are critical to DevOps at Intel.

Project Opportunities:

  • Microservices and scripting automation.

  • Website UI development & unit testing

  • Application UI development & unit testing

  • Cloud services development & deployment

  • Database schema design & implementation

  • Data aggregation & scheduler architecture, development, and unit testing

  • Data analytics, machine learning, visualization

  • Indicator/Dashboard design & implementation

An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 5 years of software development experience desired.

  • Experience with a variety of languages: C, C++ or python

  • Microservices and Scripting automation in PowerShell.

  • Web development: Angular, JavaScript, NodeJS

  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and industry-standard SW design principles.

  • Some understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

  • Should be comfortable to work in a start up like environment and must be able to adapt & develop to evolving requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Should demonstrate application of architectural principles, design patterns

  • Familiar with build automation using Jenkins, Team City, Artifactory

  • Machine Learning, Analytics, and Indicators/Metrics generation: Teams, PowerBI and relational database administration, queries, and structured data management

  • DevOps paradigms & principles

  • Systems Engineering best practices & principles
